Manchester United Stun Man City with Late Comeback

Manchester United staged a dramatic late comeback to defeat Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad, deepening the Premier League champions’ struggles.

Josko Gvardiol’s first-half header gave City the lead, but Man United turned the tide with two goals in the final three minutes.

Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty, and Amad Diallo sealed the win with a narrow-angle finish, securing Ruben Amorim his second league victory since taking charge.

ManCity, now with only one win in 11 games, remained fifth in the table, nine points behind leaders Liverpool. Pep Guardiola’s side failed to build on their early dominance, with Phil Foden’s lively performance unable to inspire a misfiring attack.

Defensive lapses proved costly as Matheus Nunes’ error led to Fernandes’ equalizer before Diallo capitalized on a long ball to net the winner.

The win lifted United to 12th, narrowing the gap to their city rivals to five points. For Amorim, this hard-fought victory offers hope for revitalizing a squad that had struggled in recent weeks and for shifting momentum in a rivalry that City have dominated in recent years.
