EKO HOT BLOG reports that a woman in Sibolga, North Sumatra, Indonesia, has been arrested on suspicion of cutting off her boyfriend’s penis after he threatened to distribute their sex tapes when she refused to sleep with him.
The incident reportedly occurred on February 25th, 2023, at a hotel in Sibolga, where the couple had met for an intimate rendezvous.
According to the police, the woman, aged 28 and unidentified, and her partner, also 28, had been in a relationship for over seven months. When they met at the hotel, the man reportedly made advances on the woman, but she was not in the mood.
The situation escalated when the man threatened to release their sex tapes, and the woman attacked him with a knife, severing his penis.
Although witnesses said they did not hear any arguing, they heard the man screaming in agony after his genitals were cut off. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he received emergency treatment for blood loss and is now in intensive care.
The woman, who was pictured in police detention with cable ties around her wrists, has not yet been charged, according to reports. She reportedly approached the hotel receptionist after the attack, requesting medical assistance for her bleeding partner, who had been left without his penis.
The police chief of Sibolga, Taryono Rajarja, said that they were waiting for a suitable time to interview the victim, who had sustained severe injuries. Meanwhile, the woman is in police custody, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Sibolga Police Chief Taryono Rajarja said:
“Based on the suspect’s statement, they had been in a relationship for around seven months. So, they made an appointment to meet at a hotel, then the man asked to have sex, after which the woman refused.
“When he was denied sex, the man threatened to spread the videos of their intimate activities. Then, when he was ready to take a shower, the suspect carried out the attack. She took a knife belonging to the man and cut off his penis.”
The attack has shocked the community, with many expressing disbelief at the severity of the violence. While the reasons for the attack are not entirely clear, it has sparked a discussion about the risks of revenge porn and the need for consent in intimate relationships.
The incident serves as a cautionary tale for those who may be tempted to use sex tapes as leverage against their partners.
