EKOHOTBLOG reports that no fewer than four people have been injured following an accident involving an ambulance and a minivan in Lagos State.
It was gathered that the ambulance was in a convoy when it rammed into a minivan with number plate AKD 676YC and injured four people on the Ikorodu Road on Monday.
According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASTMA), Nosa Okunbor, the accident occurred on the ever-busy road around 12noon.

The LASTMA spokesman said, “Further investigation revealed that while on motion, the ambulance in a convoy hit the minivan from behind. No loss of lives, but four adult males were left with injuries and were tended to by the agency’s premedical team at the incident scene and thereafter taken to the Randle General Hospital in Surulere for further medical attention.
“The agency’s response team at the scene alongside LASTMA and police officials recovered the vehicles off the road to a lay-by. The agency’s paramedical team has taken the last of the accident victims to the Trauma Centre at Gbagada,” Okunbor stated.
