Many residents trapped as a building collapsed in the Ebute Metta, Lagos on Friday, 24 July.

The collapsed building is located opposite the Health Centre Ebute Metta along Cemetery Street.

This incident was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Nosa Okunbor.

Okunbor, however did not disclose if there were any casualties at the press time.

“Our personnel are on ground at the scene and rescue operation is ongoing,” Okunbor reported to The PUNCH.
