Talented Nollywood actress Ini Edo has addressed rumors surrounding her supposed upcoming wedding.
Reports circulated in September 2024 after Ini Edo shared a photo of herself dressed in a traditional Efik bridal gown, along with a romantic caption on her Instagram page.
However, in a recent interview with Premium Times, the actress clarified that the post was simply a promotion for her upcoming four-part series, My Fairytale Wedding, not an announcement of an engagement.
When asked if she envisions having a fairytale wedding in real life, Ini Edo shared that marriage is no longer a priority for her, but rather building a strong relationship. She explained, “I’m not crazy about marriage; I’m crazy about having a solid relationship. It’s not something I’m hoping for or praying about.”
It’s worth recalling that Ini Edo was previously married to Nigerian-American businessman Philip Ehiagwina. The couple married in 2008 and divorced in 2014.
