Martial Can Be One Of Best Strikers Around –Berbatov
A man who once led the line for the Manchester United must know one of two about being a striker and Dimitar Berbatov has said as a result of his skills, Anthony Martial can become “one of the best, best strikers” in the game at the moment.
The former Red Devils forward believes the France international forward can star for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but that if he is used correctly by Manchester United.
A £58 million ($70m) signing from Monaco in the summer of 2015, the 23-year-old has come of age having spent four years at the club and just got tied to another long-term contract at Old Trafford.
Berbatov, though, believes United are yet to bring the best out of the French star who has over 170 appearances under his belt. Speaking with Express Sport, Berbatov said: “I am slightly biased, but I think Martial can become one of the best, best strikers.
“It depends on whether he has the attitude, the fighting spirit, but he is so good I think he can become one of the best.
“He has often played two to three games then out for two to three games. Two to three games on the bench then two to three games back in the team.”
