Mass Exodus As 4,459 Cross Carpet To APC In Benue

Eko Hot Blog reports that Not fewer than 4,459 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties in Benue defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defections took place in Katsina-Ala and Adikpo during Governor Hyacinth Alia’s state-wide thank you tour to express gratitude for the support that led to his victory in the last general elections.

Alia thanked the Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency for their overwhelming support that led to his triumph in the 2023 governorship election.

He reiterated his administration’s determination to return all Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) displaced by armed herders’ attacks to their ancestral homes.
