Matic Gives Verdict On Erik Ten, Reveals Why He Left Man Utd

EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Manchester United midfielder, Nemanja Matic, believes manager Erik ten Hag is the right fit for the Premier League club.

The defensive midfielder said he left Manchester United for AS Roma because he wanted a new challenge.

According to him, he has no regrets about leaving the Red Devils at the end of last season.

Matic decided to leave Man United after declining the option of a one-year contract extension.

“I see the way he [Ten Hag] wants to play, and I think that is the right way,” Matic told The Times.

“To be honest, I needed a new challenge because I never started playing football for money, it was because I enjoyed being on the pitch.
