Aishatu Baju has a keen interest in furthering her education, this interest took her to the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom, where she bagged a PhD in Molecular Epidemiology of Bovine and Human Tuberculosis.
In 2005, she was chosen alongside 14 other women for a UNESCO scholarship award for Global Young Women in Science.
During the establishment of the first ever state-of-the-art State House Veterinary Clinic in Aso Villa Abuja, AIGP Aishatu Baju was the first female AIGP to head the Force Animal Branch (FAB) in the history of the Nigeria Police Force.
AIGP Aishatu Baju is a rear gem in the country with exceptional experience, she once empowered 15 women (wives of police officers) with loans to kick start a small scale trade in order to support their families financially, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
She also used to campaign in Adamawa and Taraba States, especially to the young women in order to encourage and motivate them to join the Nigeria Police Force in view of the present low number of women police from the Northern Part of the country. She is married with two children.
