Meet The Nigerian Boxer With The Fastest Victory In Boxing History

Nigeria does not only have Anthony Joshua to be proud of, 24-year-old Efe Agba from Ughelli, Delta state, is also another promising boxer

Efe Agba, a 24-year-old boxer, is one of the athletes that are making Nigeria proud on the international scene.

An indigene of Ughelli in Delta state, the professional boxer holds the world’s record for the fastest victory as his opponent, Curtis Harper, was disqualified after he left the ring just a second after the opening bell was jingled.

It should be noted that Ajagba was a former football player in Ughelli before he left the sport for boxing. A former bakery worker, he was able to make the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

After switching from football to boxing, Efe has won all his 11 professional tournaments, where one of them was by disqualification,  EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

He aced the 2016 African Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament in Younde, Cameroon, as he won a gold medal.

A very interesting thing about Ajagba is that he has won his whole 11 profession boxing competitions by 9 knockouts, 1 decision, and 1 disqualification.
