Messi Absent As Brazil Dominate Copa America Team

Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, is absent from the Copa America Team of the Tournament after perhaps the worst tournament he would be part of aside when he was just starting out at senior level with Argentina during the 2006 World Cup.

With Liverpool and Brazil keeper, Alisson Becker, in goal; 36-year-old Dani Alves (Brazil) at right-back; Marquinhos (Brazil) is at left back while Jose Gimenez (Uruguay) is at No. 4.

Other including Miguel Trauco (Peru), Philippe Coutinho (Brazil), Arthur (Brazil) Charles Aranguiz (Chile) and Edison Flores (Peru), Gabriel Jesus (Brazil) and Everton (Brazil) complete the list.
