Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos, has claimed that Lionel Messi’s exit from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain is good for the Los Blancos because their biggest competitor in the LaLiga has lost their best player.
Kroos also said that Messi’s departure from Barcelona could open up a route for PSG’s Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid.
Messi left Barca to join PSG this summer, while Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

“We will see how it all works out (Messi to PSG). Maybe the move is good for us because our biggest competitor has lost their best player,” the German said while talking to his brother on their joint podcast Einfach mal luppen.
“And maybe even more good things will come out of it as a result.
“Maybe [a player] from Paris joins us… If that (Mbappe joining Madrid) should actually happen – I don’t know – this whole Messi deal would certainly not be a disadvantage for us.”
