Job Description
Microvest is seeking a skilled Content Marketing and Media Officer to oversee MiSocial and other Microvest social media platforms. The successful candidate will develop and implement content strategies to drive engagement, user adoption, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and engagement strategies for MiSocial.
- Create and publish engaging content to attract users and increase followership.
- Manage and grow community engagement through interactions, direct messages, and comments.
- Develop content strategies that align with Microvest’s marketing goals.
- Create and manage content across MiSocial, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
- Write and review content for the website and mobile app, including product updates.
- Maintain a structured content calendar for social media activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create scripts, email copies, press releases, and communication materials.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve online visibility.
- Analyze and optimize SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Plan and execute digital marketing strategies to drive leads and conversions.
- Represent Microvest at networking events, conferences, and industry seminars.
- Ensure confidentiality of company information and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a content writer and SEO specialist, with a strong portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Previous experience in a fintech company is an added advantage.
