  • Another attempt by bandits to attack a community in Zamfara State has been foiled by the military.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a fresh attempted attack on Gusau, the capital city of Zamfara State in the Northwest region, by bandits was thwarted by troops of Operation Hadarin Daji from the military.

It was gathered that the troops acted on a distress call at the Damba district of Gusau in the wee hours of Saturday and engaged the bandits in a gun battle, saying that it lasted for hours and the tension forced the bandits to escape to their dens.
