Eko Hot Blog reports that a source at the presidency as explained how President Tinubu Picked the 28 ministerial nominees list presented to the Senate for approval on Thursday.

According to the source, the President was meticulous in his selection of ministerial nominees.

The President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, who presented the correspondence with the list and a request for approval, stated that further nominees’ lists will be provided “in the coming days.””I’m sure you all know that the government is not fully formed until a cabinet is in place,” he told reporters at Aso Villa.

“That process began some time ago, and it culminated in the delivery of ministerial nominees.”

“The President took his time and performed extensive due diligence on each nominee.”

The Constitution requires 60 days from the date of inauguration. He met the criterion by submitting 28 names. The remaining twelve will be sent to the Senate in the coming days.
