MOCOSA ‘69/’73 Is A Truly Special Set, Otunba TJ Abass Tells Old Classmates At Reunion

Eko Hot Blog Publisher, Otunba TJ Abass, has described the Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, Class of 1969/1973 as a truly special set.

He spoke during the gala night of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Molusi College Old Students Association (MOCOSA) set of 1969/1973 on Saturday, November 26, 2023.

The reunion gave the old student of Molusi College the chance to reminisce about their time in school and praised his alma mater for its contributions to their success.

During the milestone gala night at Home Base Hotel in Ijari, Ijebu-Ode, Otunba Abass took a moment to reflect on the unique journey since graduation and the significance of giving back to the school that shaped their destinies.

In his heartfelt remarks, he expressed that, “This is a very special moment in the history of our set, and I want to say congratulations to the 69/73 set. This is undoubtedly a watershed moment in our set’s history.

“Fifty years of existence is a substantial part of anyone’s life. That’s why I consider our set to be truly special. Fifty years ago, we met on the highway of existence, and yesterday brought us together, forging a great relationship over the years.”

The media entrepreneur emphasized the shared experiences, saying, “We shared the same classrooms, common aspirations, and we stand here today despite going different directions after graduating.

“We are standing here today united by that little thread of our Alma mater, giving back to the school, which we did today.”

Otunba Abass expressed gratitude for the collective effort of the set in ensuring the success of the reunion and raised a toast to commemorate the impact of the school on their lives.

“Once again, I want to thank everyone for that spirit of altruism, reaching out, and giving your resources to ensure this particular set continues to thrive. Today, we want to toast to the school, the school that made a profound impact on our lives,” he concluded.

The heartfelt toast resonated with attendees, symbolizing the enduring bond among the MOCOSA set of 69/73 and their commitment to honoring the institution that played a vital role in shaping their personal and collective journeys.
