MOCOSA Celebrates Dr. Wole Kukoyi
The Molusi College Old Students Association set of 69/73, on Friday, celebrated one of their own, Dr Wole Kukoyi, as he launched the 100-Bed capacity healthcare facility of the Ace Medicare Clinics Limited in Otta area of Ogun State.
Speaking after the event, his classmates took turn to express their delight at the launch of the world class hospital while extolling the virtues of Kukoyi.
According to Abisola Ayeni, Kukoyi has always been a serious student right from secondary school days adding that she was not surprised that he had achieved so much for himself.
“I am highly honoured to have been invited to speak on this occasion of the commissioning of Ace Medicare Clinics Limited.
“I am a classmate of the Managing Director, Wole Kukoyi, Mocosa 69/73 set. Back in school, Kukoyi didn’t joke with his education. He was always with his books and he sometimes made us look un-serious.
“This is just a testament to his hard work and dedication to education. Yet, despite his achievement, he hasn’t changed. Kukoyi has remained humble till today. You can see the humility in him.”
Another classmate, Folashade Fayemi, said Kukoyi is just out to fulfil one of the emblems of MOCOSA while hailing his humility.
“Dr Wole Kukoyi has been a very special person, humble to a fault and a philanthropist. One of our emblem says “We shall heal the nation” and I am sure with this facility, he will heal the nation and he is going international.
“He has served a lot of people and some of them testified to this today. We finished secondary school forty-six years ago and he never stopped checking up on everyone. Kukoyi is a special being who is definitely going places.”
Reverend Shola Ogunbanjo, a very close friend and classmate said that one of the things that made Kukoyi special was his consistency.
“In the pursuit of medical profession and the result is what we are seeing today. Kukoyi started from a flat and he grew over time to the point of commissioning a 100-Bed capacity facility. It is clearly a result of consistency.
“Aside from that, he is very humble. He is the Chairman of our set while I am the Secretary General. Working with him has been very interesting. He is a very Godly person, as he sends me devotional every morning online and I respond immediately.
“Associating with him has been a blessing to me,” he said.
The Publisher of Ekohotblog, one of Nigerian’s foremost news websites, Otunba Gbenga TJ Abass, who happened to be a fellow classmate and graced the occasion was also full of praise for Dr Kukoyi.
Otunba Gbenga TJ Abass, described him as a model of grace and humility, a cheerful giver with deep pocket with a difference.
“Wole truly embodies the slogan of Molusi College “Only the Best and Molusians shall always lead in every walk of life; We shall lead the Nation.” We are truly leading the Nation in the area of healthcare.
“We also need to acknowledge the support of his family, particularly his wife and prayer warrior, Rev. Sola Kukoyi, who has consistently been a pillar of support.
“With this ground breaking achievement, Wole has written a very beautiful story that generation unborn will continue to read. This is what true legacy is all about,” he said.
In the same vein, another classmate Venerable Bayo Odeniyi, also congratulated Kukoyi on the feat attained while describing him as industrious individual.
