MOCPED Final Year Students, External Candidates Engage In TRCN Exam
Final year students of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, in Noforija area of Epe, has participated in the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) examination.
Report has it that external students were also part of the candidates who sat for the exam which was written in the college hall on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
TRCN which is a professional body for teachers approved MOCPED as one of its examination centres in Nigeria and also agreed for the college to run a year programme to award Professional Diploma in Education (PDE).
Admission for PDE has started in the college and still ongoing.
It will also be noted that lecture has commenced for the first batch of students for PDE programme while SIWES Orientation for final year students going for Industrial Training (IT) took place on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
According to the SIWES coordinator of the college, Shukurat Dhabi, the orientation will afford the students the opportunity to go about their training as a good ambassador of the college.
In a related development, screening of students for admission into the NCE programme for 2020/ 2021 academic year also began in the college on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
Simultaneously, orientation for University of Ibadan students in affiliation with MOCPED also took place today Thursday 5th November 2020.
Information has it that matriculation ceremony for the UI students is slated for Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
