MOCPED Marks 25 Years With Series Of Activities

Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED, will on Thursday, November 28, kickstart its 25th anniversary with a series of activities.

Activities lined up for the one-week event include but not limited to a health walk for the staffers and students of the college. The health walk will start from the College gate to Ita Marun.

Thursday will also feature a movie titled; The Weeping President’, which will be shown at the multi-purpose hall of the college.

A thanksgiving service will be held on Friday, November 29, at the college chapel with a Jumat service to follow at the college mosque.

A press conference is to be held on Monday, December 2, for members of management, Deans. Students’ Body and past Deputy Provosts of the college.

Monday will also cater for exhibitions of all departmental products, historical pictures as well as a marriage seminar for staff and their spouses.

Day four will feature a novelty match between WICE and the male staff of the college as well as a seminar for the students.

Wednesday, December 4, is declared the ‘Health Day’ for medical checkup diabetes, hypertension, eye test, and Cancer Screenings, followed by a health talk.

The 25 Anniversary lecture will take place on Thursday, December 11 while the grand finale of the week-long event, 25th Anniversary Luncheon, will be on Thursday, December 19. This will be graced by special dignitaries like traditional rulers, politicians, past council chairmen, amongst others.
