MOCPED Provost Calls For Private Investors
The Provost of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED), Noforija, Eredo-Epe, Lagos, Prof. Nosiru Onibon, has called on all private sectors to come to the aid of the development of the college.
Onibon stated this at the ongoing 25th Anniversary of the college which began on Monday in Noforija, Eredo-Epe, Lagos with a press conference to herald the celebration of the Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED.

Prof. Nosiru Onibon who advocated for all-inclusive support for the funding of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, particularly from stakeholders, emphasized that the funding of education should not be left for government alone, urging corporate bodies, alumni and wealthy individuals to assist in developing education.
Speaking on the programme for the 25th anniversary, Onibon disclosed that the college which began with 8 structures can today boast of 31 structures facilitated by the successive governments of the Lagos State and TETFund intervention.
Onibon disclosed that “about 16,000 graduates (NCE Holder) have emerged since inception, some of whom have had highher degrees, including PhD, in their chosen carriers with some of them filling our academic and non academic vacancies with very resourceful disposition in the discharge of their duties”.
He said “the past twenty five years have been eventful in the history of the college and of this administration. Despite the bottlenecks of financial dire straits alongside other sundry challenges, Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED has been able to pull through and made significant progress.
