MOCPEDAt25: Provost Commends Lagos State Government, Others
The Provost of Micheal Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED, professor Onibon Nosiru Olajide has commended the Lagos State Government under the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for coming to the rescue of the college in settling the entitlements of the pensioners.
Professor Onibon Nosiru made the commendation in a press briefing with newsmen on the sideline of the college’s 25th Anniversary which held at the Main Auditorium of MOCPED on Monday.
“I want to appreciate the successive Government of Lagos State, especially the current administration led by his excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu for coming to the rescue of the college in settling the the entitlements of the pensioners”.
Onibon further extended the commendation to the current special adviser on education, Barrister Tokunbo Wahab, Chairman of immediate past governing, board members, others for giving a listening ear and swift reponse to the institute’s demands.
“I also want to appreciate the Special Adviser on Education, Barrister Tokunbo Wahab, deserves a pat on the back for his listening ears and quick response to our demands, the Chairman of the immediate past past Governing Council, her members, the members of the management, the indefatigable Union’s Leaders who provide us the aroma of unionism needed to succeed by any right thinking administrator (s), the entire members of academic and non academic staff and students of the college for continuous support and understanding in attaining greater heights”.
Deputy Provost, Mr. J.O Ogunniyi also disclosed that the college is committed to academic excellence and has blazed an innovative path in higher education.
The 25th Anniversary of Micheal Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED witnessed the presence of various dignitaries from far and wide.
