“Money Heist”: Professor Applauds Ikorodu Bois For Replicating Trailer(VIDEO)

Nigerian internet sensation, Ikorodu Bois have earned praise from “The Professor” after imitating the trailer of the Netflix Spanish drama series, Money Heist.

Netflix’s Money Heist has had a lot of international appeal since 2018; an appeal so far-reaching that it has made its way to very young audiences in Nigeria.

Ikorodu Bois recently created and shared their own shot-by-shot replica of the trailer of Money Heist season 4. The video, which went viral on social media, gained the attention of Spanish actor Álvaro Morte, who plays the mastermind of the heists.

The Professor said:
“What an amazing job!!! Congrats!! Thanks a lot for this. You all are the very best!!”

The film series’ official Twitter handle also praised the video:
“Welcome to the gang”, @lacasadepapel tweeted along with a clap emoji and flag of Nigeria.

The Ikorodu Bois have amassed fame for emulating music videos and film trailers.

The Ikorodu Bois have recreated videos featuring celebrities such as Roddy Rich, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Zlatan, Funke Akindele, Wizkid and Davido.

Money Heist has also received several awards including best drama series at the 46th International Emmy Awards, as well as critical acclaim for its sophisticated plot, interpersonal dramas, direction, and for trying to innovate Spanish television.
