Spain striker, Alvaro Morata, has expressed his joy after Atletico Madrid and Chelsea agreed on a deal to make his loan move to the Spanish club permanent.
Chelsea announced yesterday that the striker, who has enjoyed a renaissance since heading back to his homeland after a season at Chelsea, will spend another season on loan before completing a permanent switch next summer.
“[I’m] happy. Now it’s official,” Morata wrote on Twitter, adding: “Now I will have time to give back all the efforts of the club and the support of the fans with hard work and goals. Thank you!!!”
Atletico Madrid will pay around 55million euros for Morata as agreed when his loan move was completed in January.
