More structures have been demolished to ‘deflood’ parts of Lagos.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Government has demolished more structures in an effort to forestall flooding in some parts of Lagos.

The demolition exercise was carried out in at least two different locations on Monday.
The first exercise saw enforcement officials from the Lagos Ministry of Environment and Water Resources demolish structures marked for contravening environmental laws along Owode-Agiliti Drainage Channel, Kosofe.
“Operatives from the Drainage Enforcement department of MOE& WR at work on Monday Removing Contraventions along Owode-Agiliti Drainage Channel, Kosofe as part of deflooding measures,” the ministry said.
The officials also removed structures in Ajiran-Regional road Collector drain in Eti-Osa LG.
“Operatives of the Drainage Enforcement department from MOE&WR Removing contraventions on Ajiran-Regional road Collector drain in Eti-Osa LG on Monday as part of measures to deflood the area,” the state government added.
