Mr. Macaroni Recounts How Much He Owes Davido’s Father

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the ‘Timeless’ concert by Nigerian music sensation, Davido, held on Sunday night at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, and was attended by various notable figures in the music industry, including Inyanya, Asake, Spyro, and others. The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, who is also Davido’s uncle, was also present at the event.

The show was hosted by popular comedian, Mr Macaroni, and Kie Kie. In a post on his social media page, Mr Macaroni expressed his excitement, describing the concert as “a timeless experience to cherish forever.”

In the post, Mr Macaroni also recounted the first time he met Davido in 2020 and how Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adeleke, had assisted him in the past. According to the comedian, Dr. Adeleke was the first elder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Magodo, Lagos, where Mr Macaroni grew up, and had bought him his first-ever laptop for school.

Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album, which was released recently, has been breaking records since its release. It topped the charts in Nigeria, the UK, and on Apple Music. The album also broke Spotify’s record by garnering 4.91 million streams within 24 hours of release, making it the most-streamed album on the platform for the first day.
