Peter Okoye who is popularly and musically known as Mr. P, has reacted to the alleged demotion of the university of Calabar final year students to 200 level.
The new Vice Chancellor of the institution, Florence Obi, allegedly ordered all final year students of some departments to return to 200 hundred level.
According to reports, the decision taken was to ensure an appropriate accreditation of the courses. The departments allegedly affected are Fine and Applied Arts, Mass Communication, and Music.
The news which has gone viral on social media has attracted the attention of a popular Nigerian singer, Mr. P who reacted during an interview with Opera News, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
According to him, it is a right decision taken by the school management as most Nigerian graduates become unproductive.
He added that this would give students more time to study so that they are not seen as “graduates who can neither read nor write”.
