Mukhtaar Tijani Hails Sanwo-Olu As Lagos Water Corporation Receives ‘Ounje Eko’ Food Packs

Eko Hot Blog reports that Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has delivered ‘Ounje Eko’ food packs to Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) to “cushion the effect of the high cost of living” and “lessen the economic hardship being experienced nationwide”.
The development was disclosed on Monday, 20th May, 2024 at the LWC Headquarters Water-House, Ijora, Lagos.
In a statement, the corporation’s Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani said the ‘Ounje Eko’ initiative was aimed at cushioning the effect of the high cost of living in Lagos.
While appreciating the state governor, Engr. Tijani lauded his efforts, describing the initiative as remarkable and significant achievement in the history of the state.
The delivery was made through the State Ministry of Agriculture, led by the Commissioner, Ms. Abiola Olusanya, ably represented by Mrs. Ajose Ranti and Mr. Olalude Folarin of Lagos State, Ministry of Agriculture, and received by the LWC, Head, Human Resources Management, Mrs. Mobolaji Ogunnaike at the Water-House, Ijora, Lagos.
Meanwhile, the LWC boss has been praised by many in the water corporation for “exemplary leadership and commitment” to staff welfare.
