American music icon Sean Combs, known professionally as Diddy, was arrested in New York on Monday night by federal agents at a Manhattan hotel following a grand jury indictment.
His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, expressed disappointment with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, describing the prosecution as unjust. Agnifilo emphasized that Diddy had voluntarily traveled to New York in anticipation of the charges.
“We are disappointed by the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs.

Sean Combs is a music legend, a devoted family man, a self-made entrepreneur, and a philanthropist who has spent three decades uplifting the Black community. While he’s not perfect, he is certainly not a criminal,” Agnifilo stated.
He further added, “Mr. Combs has cooperated fully with the investigation and relocated to New York in preparation for these charges.
