My Father Built Lagos’ First Cyber Cafe, Connected Nigeria To Internet – Rapper Eldee
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Eldee shared this on the Adesope Live show, stating that his father also established Lagos’ first cyber cafe and provided internet services to oil companies, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and other government agencies.
He noted that although some might dispute the claim due to his father’s low profile, his impact on Nigeria’s tech space was groundbreaking.

“Thankfully, I had a dad who was in technology,” Eldee said. “My dad was a pioneer in his space. He was the first person to connect Nigeria to the internet. People might argue about it because they don’t know his name; he wasn’t one to seek attention.”
He added, “The very first cyber cafe in Lagos was set up by my dad. He connected organizations like Mobil and government agencies to the internet.
