My Husband Is Not A Rapist –‘Modele, Fatoyinbo’s Wife

A pastor along with her husband, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly in Guzape, Abuja, Pastor Omodele Fatoyinbo, jumped to the defence of her husband on Sunday.

Fatoyinbo, a flamboyant cleric, has been under attack for the past few days after Busola Dakolo, wife of singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo, accused him of raping her more than once around 20 years ago.

During church service on Sunday besieged by hundreds of protesters who were only prevented from gaining access to the church by security operatives, the woman widely known as ‘Modele, defended her husband while addressing the congregation on Sunday.

“My husband is not a rapist. Even if he was not a believer, he would not be a rapist,” she said, according to qed.ng which reported that her husband quickly took the microphone from her while saying “the elders are handling the matter.”
