The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, announced that it had relocated its corporate headquarters from Lagos to Abuja.
The General Manager, Public Affairs of the agency, Mr. Khalid Emele, disclosed this statement on Sunday in Lagos.
Ekohotblog gathered that the Minister of Aviation on May 4, ordered in a letter dated May 4, that all agencies under it should relocate their operational headquarters to Abuja within 45 days.
Emele said the new development is mandated by the Federal Ministry of Aviation’s current directive to all agencies in the sector to have all operational headquarters relocated to the nation’s capital.

“This is to ensure efficient and effective coordination and enhanced service delivery between the ministry and its agencies.
” Meanwhile, the Managing Director, Capt. Fola Akinkuotu and other critical staff of the agency had since relocated to the new NAMA headquarters in Abuja.
“This is in strict adherence to the ministry’s directive while arrangements are made for other strategic staff to follow suit in due course,” he said.
He also stated that the agency’s new corporate address is now 6, Ogbia Close, Off Arochukwu Street, Garki 2, Abuja. At the same time, all NAMA social media handles have been adjusted to reflect this change.
