President Bola Tinubu wielded his political sledgehammer on Wednesday, shaking up his cabinet with forceful precision.

Five ministers were sacked, 10 were redeployed and seven new nominees were brought in to fill key positions.

However, several high-profile ministers, including Nyesom Wike, Adegboyega Oyetola, David Umahi, and Atiku Bagudu, narrowly escaped the axe.

The president’s reshuffle also reinstated two ministers—Betta Edu, who had been suspended, and Simon Lalong, who left earlier to serve in the Senate.
