Nasarawa Cabinet Members To Go On Immediate Self-Isolation
Nasarawa State Members of the cabinet are to commence fourteen days self-isolation with effect from Friday, July 10, until their COVID-19 test results are out.
The State Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Mr. Dogo Shammah, made the announcement and noted that the move is a precautionary measure to monitor the spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, this is coming just after the state Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Abdulkareem Kana, tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Mr. Shammah explained that the immediate self-isolation is directed by the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, and the Chairman of the state COVID-19 task force.
It was learned that the State’s Attorney General who tested positive for Covid-19, had attended the state executive council meeting, chaired by Governor Abdullahi Sule on July 3.
The commissioner urged residents to stay calm and observe all safety precautionary measures imposed by the ministry of health, WHO, and other health bodies.
