Schools from Epe Zone, Education District 3, Lagos State, Nigeria have clinched 4-Star ratings in a recently concluded National Virtual Debate for Senior Secondary Schools Across Nigeria: Q1 2021.
The representatives of the schools churned out sterling and excellent performances with their eloquence, organization and articulation views, captivating and thoughtful line of arguments, impressive rebuttals and presentation styles.
The schools are Epe Girls’ Senior High School represented by Mbagwu Onyiyechi Gift, Epe Senior Grammar School represented by Nurudeen Kaosara and. Lagos State Model College Igbonla represented by Adedokun Salamat Adenike.
The virtual debate was organised by Association for Credible Leadership in Nigeria ( ACLN ).
In a statement signed by Adeyinka Fadehan for the Global Secretariat, New Jersey, USA, the organiser disclosed that 13 schools across Lagos and Osun States that competed in the debate got the 4-star ratings.
Fadehun said the schools would be presented with medals of honour during the award presentation ceremony tagged ACLN Ambassador Leadership Conference holding by June 2021.
Similarly, Ekohotblog gathered that 4 schools across Lagos, Oyo, Osun and Ogun States had 5 Star Ratings after performing exceptionally well in the debate and would be put up for public voting to select the best.
These include Birch Freeman Senior High School Lagos, Government College Ibadan, Oduduwa College Ile-Ife, Osun State and Iganmode Grammar School Senior Ota, Ogun State. The first, second and third-placed contestants would part with star prizes of NGN 250,000, NGN150,000 and NGN100,000 respectively after public online voting via the organization website, http://www.acln.org
