Naya Rivera: Police Find Body In The Lake, As They Search For Missing Glee Star

The United State police have found a body in the lake where glee actress, Naya Rivera went missing.

The official Twitter account for Ventura County sheriff tweeted that a body had been found at Lake Piru on Monday morning.

Rivera was declared missing after her four-year-old son, Josey Hollis, was found alone in a boat on Lake Piru in California on Wednesday afternoon.

The 33-year-old actress was said to have arrived at the lake and rented a pontoon boat, taking her son out aboard but around 4 pm, the boat was found with the child asleep inside but the victim missing and the car still parked at the lake.

After a massive search and rescue operation, they found no trace of Rivera, police then moved for a “search and recovery operation”.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said a body had been found in the reservoir on Monday but did not immediately say if it was that of Rivera, noting “the recovery is in progress” and they would hold a press conference at the scene soon.

Rivera came into limelight after starring as cheerleader Santana Lopez in a reality musical series “Glee”.

She had her son Josey Hollis, with her ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey before the couple divorced in 2018, and were granted joint custody.
