The wedding took place at the luxurious Costa Navarino resort near Pylos in the Peloponnese, concluding three days of celebrations that included a white-themed party on Friday and a Nigerian-themed event on Saturday.

Antetokounmpo’s close friend and Milwaukee Bucks teammate Khris Middleton served as the best man in the “hybrid” Orthodox and Catholic ceremony, Skai TV reported.
Among the 200 guests were NBA legend LeBron James, Greece’s national team coach Vassilis Spanoulis, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with his family.
Known as the “Greek Freak” and one of Greece’s most prominent global figures, Antetokounmpo has achieved immense success despite a challenging childhood familiar to many migrant children in Greece.
Born to Nigerian immigrants who arrived in Athens in 1991, he grew up in working-class neighbourhoods, helping his family by selling trinkets on the streets.
According to Proto Thema, Antetokounmpo insisted that the wedding be a private affair, with no media coverage allowed.
“Remarkably, everyone working on the wedding has signed a confidentiality agreement to ensure the couple’s complete privacy,” it said.
