NCDC Announces 45 New COVID-19 Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 166,191
  • Total cases discharged – 156,535
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,071

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,191 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 27, the NCDC reports 45 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 5 states – Lagos-27, Rivers-14, Kaduna-2, Jigawa-1 and Ekiti-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,535 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,071.
