NCDC Announces 48 New COVID-19 Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 166,146
  • Total cases discharged – 156,529
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,071

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,146 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 26, the NCDC reports 48 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 6 states – Lagos-22, Rivers-11, Enugu-11, Kaduna-2, FCT-1 and Gombe-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,529 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,071.
