NCDC confirms 193 New Cases As Nigeria COVID-19 Toll Crosses 5000 Mark

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday disclosed that the country has recorded one ninety three new COVID-19 cases.

The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.

According to the agency, of the 193 new cases, 58 are confirmed in Lagos, 46 in Kano State, 35 in Jigawa, 12 in Yobe, 9 in FCT, 7 in Ogun, 5 in plateau and Gombe, 4 in Imo, 3 in Edo, Kwara and Borno, while Bauchi, Nasarawa and Ondo all have one case each.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria to 5162 with 1180 discharged and 167 deaths recorded.
