NCDC Confirms 229 Fresh Cases As Nigeria’s COVID-19 Toll Crosses 8000 Mark
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday announced that the country has recorded two hundred twenty nine new cases of COVID-19.
The agency disclosed this in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to NCDC, Of the 229 cases, 90 were confirmed in Lagos, 27 in Kastina, 26 in Imo, 23 in Kano, 14 in FCT, 12 in Plateau, 9 in Ogun, 7 Delta, 5 in Borno and Rivers, 4 in Oyo, 3 in Gombe, 2 in Osun, 1 In Bayelsa and Anambra.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria to 8068 with 2311 discharged and 233 death recorded.
