The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,979 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated May 22, the NCDC reports 35 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 7 states – Lagos-9, Kano-8, Yobe-7, Rivers-4, Akwa Ibom-3, FCT-2 and Katsina-11.
Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,468 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,067.
