NCDC Confirms 40 Fresh COVID-19 Cases

• Total cases confirmed – 166,019
• Total cases discharged – 156,476
• Total deaths recorded – 2,067

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,019 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 23, the NCDC reports 40 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 7 states – Lagos-29, Abia-3, Ogun-3, Kano-2, Kaduna-1, Plateau-1 and Rivers-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,476 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,067.
