NCDC Confirms 42 Fresh COVID-19 Cases, No New Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 166,061
    Total cases discharged – 156,492
    Total deaths recorded – 2,067

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,061 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 24, the NCDC reports 42 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 8 states – Lagos-14, Gombe-11, Ebonyi-5, Kano-5, FCT-4, Edo-1, Kaduna-1 and Rivers-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,492 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,067.
