NCDC Records 24 More Deaths, 1005 New COVID-19 Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 144,521
  • Total cases discharged – 118,866
  • Total deaths recorded – 1,734

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 144,521 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 12, the NCDC reports 1005 new infections and 24 deaths resulting from COVID-19 complications.

The new infections were recorded in 19 states — Lagos-204, Kwara-155, Oyo-124, Plateau-80, FCT-75, Edo-56, Osun-48, Ondo-41, Kaduna-40, Rivers-40, Taraba-35, Borno-32, Ekiti-21, Ogun-20, Kano-14, Bayelsa-8, Delta-7, Bauchi-3 and Jigawa-2.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 118,866 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 1,734.
