The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 101,331 cases of COVID-19.
In its latest case update dated January 11, the NCDC reports 1,244 new infections and 3 deaths resulting from COVID-19 complications.
The new infections were recorded in 18 states — Lagos (774), FCT (125), Plateau (102), Anambra (47), Ondo (46), Rivers (27), Edo (18), Kaduna (16), Ogun (16), Gombe (16), Bauchi (11), Kano (11), Nasarawa (10), Akwa Ibom (7), Sokoto (7), Borno (5), Ekiti (4) and Zamfara (2).

As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 80,491 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 1,361.
