NCDC Reports 35 COVID-19 Deaths, 376 Fresh Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 209,173
  • Total cases discharged – 197,084
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,804

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 209,173 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated October 16, the NCDC reports 376 new cases with 35 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 13 states – Lagos (215), Rivers (82), Ondo (16), Imo (14), Plateau (12), Kaduna (10), Kwara (9), Ekiti (4), Bauchi (3), Delta (3), Kano (3), Sokoto (3), Nasarawa (1), and Oyo (1)

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Ogun and Osun States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 197,084 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,804.
