Ndombele Joins Tottenham In £65m Deal

Reports indicate UEFA Champions League finalists, Tottenham Hotspur, have made Lyon midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele, their first signing in 18 months.

According to Mirror UK, Mauricio Pochettino’s side completed the deal a whopping £65million club record deal for the 22-year-old on Tuesday, with an official announcement now expected from the London club.

Ndombele joins Spurs for an initial fee of £55million with £10million of potential add-ons, according to sources aware of the deal.

The France international is also set to become one of the club’s highest earners with a £200,000-a-week deal in place for a man who made 34 appearances for Lyon last season, providing seven assists along with one goal.

Apart from Manchester United, Liverpool and Juventus were reportedly interested in signing Ndombele, identified by Europe’s top clubs as one of the best in midfield on the continent for the past two seasons.
