NECO Fixes Date To Release 2022 SSCE Results
The National Examinations Council has said the results of Senior School Certificate Examination will released 45 days after the last paper
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Registrar of the National Examinations Council, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, has said a total of 1,209,000 candidates are sitting the ongoing 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination.
A statement by NECO on monitoring of the conduct of the examination in Lagos by Wushishi stated that the results would be released in 45 days after the last paper on August 12.
It added that Wushishi visited Ilupeju Senior Grammar School, Agbayewa Memorial College also in Ilupeju among others.

It read, “As you know, it is a process, as soon as the examination is concluded on August 12, we prepare for marking. We have an action plan for coordination and marking and that is why we are optimistic we will release the results in 45 days after the last paper.We have been going round states across the country to monitor and see things for ourselves.
We started from Lokoja in Kogi, and moved over to Ekiti and then to Akure in Ondo, Osogbo in Osun, Oyo, then to Abeokuta in Ogun and Lagos,’’ he said.
The statement added that the over N2b examination fees being owed by some state governments were slowing down its efforts in ensuring the smooth operations of the Council.
