Khalifah Bin Hamad Al-Thani, a relative of PSG owner, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has claimed that Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain is “officially concluded”.
Multiple reports in France and Spain confirmed Messi has already agreed terms with the Ligue 1 side.
It will be a two-year deal with an option for a third, which will see the 34-year-old earn €40m per season including performance-related bonuses and add-ons.

Al-Thani, tweeting via his verified handle, has now posted a picture of Messi wearing a PSG shirt.
“Negotiations are officially concluded. And announce later,” he wrote.
Al-Thani was a founder of the Qatar Investment Authority, which bought Paris Saint-Germain.
He was the Emir of Qatar from 1995 to 2013, before abdicating and handing over power to his son.
