New Dawn As Epe Becomes Hub Of Accounting Profession
- A society that eschew accountability creates fertile ground for manifestation of corruption – Keshinro

He added that, with the prioritisation of building of infrastructure and provision of quality education by concerned stakeholders coupled with the plethora of industries springing up in Epe and its environ, it is only a matter of time before the town witnesses a boom in industrialisation and human development.
He acknowledged the role played by Ikorodu & Districts Society Chairman, Mr Abiodun Akinwobi FCA, noting that he helped lay the ground work for the actualisation of having ICAN in Epe.
“Accounting is not a profession that should be scoffed at or treated with disdain by any society that’s serious with development” Keshinro said at the inauguration and his investiture as the pioneer Chairman of the institute in Epe “accountants fiscal and financial inputs play a huge role in provision of infrastructural facilities and social amenities in the state”
“Accounting is the bedrock of governance and every other endeavour without which the management of any society will become painstaking and its development stampeded. A society or institution where accountability is frowned on and trampled upon breeds corruption, disorderliness and social upheaval” he told dignitaries at the high powered event.
Speaking further, Keshinro noted that the District will strive to be a point of good reference in areas such as; Transparent Leadership, Financial Commitment, Training, Conference Attendance and MCPE Participation.
